Rewriting the lifecycle: AI from idea to production

YLD Innovate brings together C-suite level technology, business and product leaders for an evening of open, peer-level conversation.

On 18 June 2026, join engineering leaders in person to discuss how AI is reshaping the entire software development lifecycle: from how code gets written and reviewed, to how it gets tested, secured, shipped, and operated in production.

Seats are limited, so please register your interest to attend, and we will be in touch to confirm your attendance.

A curated evening for engineering leaders and founders.

Most AI-in-engineering discussions stop at the individual developer. We're going further: what's working when you roll this out across hundreds of engineers with different tools, codebases, and risk tolerances.
We'll cover where AI actually shifts the numbers (and where the gains evaporate), what changes for team structure and code review, and how engineering leaders are rethinking how they measure effectiveness.

You'll leave with:

  • Concrete examples from organisations rolling this out across thousands of engineers.
  • A clearer view of where the productivity claims hold up and where they don't.
  • Time with peers running into the same problems you are.

Agenda highlights

From autocomplete to orchestration

What does code review look like when PRs are larger and more frequent? How do security practices adapt when the attack surface shifts?

Adopting AI across large, complex organisations

We’ll discuss what adoption actually looks like in practice, how platform infrastructure needs to change, and how you bring an entire engineering organisation along without losing quality or control.

Measuring what matters

How do you measure the real impact of AI on engineering effectiveness, what incentives actually drive adoption, and what does good look like when the whole lifecycle has changed?
